Craning Piano

Piano removal dilemma: the piano doesn’t fit!

Occasionally, our removalists come across a piano removal that requires a little extra
oomph! When a piano refuses to be moved or delivered by conventional methods, we have
to think out of the box. Some pianolas and upright/grand pianos need a little extra help to
leave their old homes or enter their new ones (or both). That is when we bring in a crane.

Due to the weight and dimensions of pianos, difficult access points with stairs and tight
access points can sometimes be prohibitive. To avoid damage to your piano or pianola, we
can offer the option of a crane to lift the piano onto a balcony or up to a window. Whether
you live in an apartment, house or even on a boat, we have a solution for moving your piano
safely.

We are fully-insured and experienced in this type of move and the need for a crane will be
identified during the risk assessment and planning stage.
